It was a week ago i tried to jailbreak my new arrived iPhone 3gs 16gb. The phone was never jailbroken before and was tied with AT&T network service. its MC model phone and also its 3.1.2 or 3.1.3 SHSH blobs weren’t stored on cydia (did i say it was never jailbroken). and it was upgraded to iOS 4.0 with factory reset. give the above facts, it lost all the chances of getting jailbroken and unlocked.
I waited for the D day (trying all other methods meanwhile). August 2, 2010. jailbreakme.com tweet I received, my excitement grew no bounds. instantly rushed to the wifi spot to jailbreak with the most easiest jailbreak method ever. alas, every time i try to jailbreak my Safari browser crashed. searched the forums for solution and found the safari cache, history clearance. but didn’t help. Then even tried to do with the pdf method to exploit by sending the attachment to my email and tried to open the pdf attachment, again the same story, safari simply crashed.
Then got an idea to upgrade the OS to iOS 4.0.1 legally and jailbreak then (even jailbreak is legal now . So accepted the recommendation on my windows iTunes to upgrade my iPhone to latest iOS 4.0.1. Luck still didn’t favour me, the itunes was giving 1602 and 1604 errors. Apple’s recommendation to uninstall and reinstall iTunes didn’t help either.
Then I had an idea to do it on my Mac Snow Leopard 10.6.4 running on VMware.
connected the iPhone and fired iTunes on mac. the upgrade to iOS 4.0.1 was breeze. Just loaded my already downloaded official 4.0.1 firmware on hard disk. also got activated as I had the AT&T sim inside.
Now to Jailbreak, visited www.jailbreakme.com and downloaded the exploit, it was just breeze. jailbroken in less than 2 minutes. Next visited cydia to unlock it with Ultrasn0w. Done. thats it, I must admit this was the most easiest jailbreak and unlock ever (after fixing iOS 4.0.1, if not it’s the most difficult jailbreak for me .
So bottom line… My recommendation for fellow iPhone owners who has
1.	iPhone 3gs
2.	Never jailbroken before
3.	Doenst have SHSH blog save on cydie
4.	New bootrom
5.	Upgraded to iOS4 by mistake
Is to upgrade their OS to iOS 4.0.1. and then try the jailbreakme 2.0 method.

A new intruiging scientific paper put forward by theoritical and Astro-physicist Nikodem J. Poplawski shows that Our whole Universe might be at the Center of a newly formed Black Hole existing in totally another Universe! and that our arrow of time originated from that black hole.

The Einstein-Cartan-Kibble-Sciama theory of gravity provides a simple scenario in early cosmology which is alternative to standard cosmic inflation and does not require scalar fields. The torsion of spacetime prevents the appearance of the cosmological singularity in the early Universe filled with Dirac particles averaged as a spin fluid. Instead, its expansion starts from a state at which the Universe has a minimum but finite radius. We show that the dynamics of the closed Universe immediately after this state naturally solves the flatness and horizon problems in cosmology because of an extremely small and negative torsion density parameter, $\Omega_S\approx -10^{-69}$. This scenario also suggests that the contraction of our Universe preceding the state of minimum radius could correspond to the dynamics of matter inside the event horizon of a newly formed black hole existing in another universe.

Grab the PDF version of the full article here: bewarned, its full of bewildering equations, but the text nevertheless is interesting reading material.

Its mindboggling to imagine the nature of this state, but ancient Indian texts speculated that our Universe might be a tiny fraction that made up another universe of an higher magnitude and this relationship might escalate over infinite times.

Quite interesting.
